Precious Parchment is an established business and training school that is run by Purnima Panchal.

Based within the West Midlands, Purnima is a fully qualified tutor in Professional Floristry and holds a NAFAS Diploma in Floral Art and also holds a National certifcate in Professional Floristry. Purnima is a Fully Qualified lecturer and has taught Floristy for Solihull Further Education college and is currently teaching for Adult Education.  The workshops on offer include sugarcraft , cake decorating  and creative card making.

The  courses and workshops are held at the Village Hall in Burton Green  Hodgetts Lane CV8 1PH, Kenilworth ( near Coventry). They allow students of all abilities to learn in a relaxed and sociable athmosphere. 

Courses and workshops on offer include:

Sugarcraft and Cake Decorating for beginners and improvers, these workshops are designed for indiviuals who would be interested in learning to decorate  cakes for special occasions and for individuals who would like to set up their own cake decorating business.

Courses on offer include:

Cup cakes - decorated with fondant, sugar flowers including hand made roses,butterflies etc.

Decorative Cookies- short bread cookies cut into assorted shapes e.g hand bags, baby pram, wedding cake, dress etc. and decorated using fondant paste, perfect for favours and party bags.

Wedding cake-marzipan and cover a rich fruit cake, with ribbon trim and decorate with hand made realistic sugar flowers.

Christening cake- sponge cake covered with fondant and modelled decoration of a baby in a crib with toys.

Sugar craft :  Wired sugar flowers and foliage using cutters and veiners, dusting techniques using dust and painting, taping and making them into a spray. Flowers include, rose spray, open rose and leaves, casablance lily, freesia,lily of the valley etc.

 ALL DEPOSIT PAYMENTS TAKEN ARE NON-REFUNDABLE however if a workshop is cancelled by the tutor you will receive an alternative booking date.
